Como se dice "pizza" en Italiano
On Wednesday evening as we were driving to Chuck E' Cheese Tyler decides to go all foreign on Ethan and myself and teaching us something about the Italian language. He says, "Dad I know how to say pizza in Italian." I think to myself and then say to him, "Well...how?" Tyler says, "Spaghetti is how you say pizza in Italian." I love Tyler and the cute things that he says.
Happy Veterinarians Day!!!
While I was with Ethan this weekend he kept on talking about the upcoming holiday of Veterinarians Day. So funny!!! Thank you for all those veterinarians working around the world to keep our pets and other wildlife safe and healthy. We salute you.
Halloween 2010
I used to not really enjoy Halloween as a young kid growing up. Sure I liked the candy and could eat it all day but I just did not really enjoy it for some reason and now looking back I wish I would have more. It has seriously crept up in as one of my favorite holidays. It is the one day a year that you can put on a literal mask and be any person that you want to be. Ethan wanted to be a doctor for Halloween and for the day he was Dr. Ethan. Tyler wanted to be a cowboy for Halloween and for the day he was the wildest cowboy in the West.
On a more philosophical note I guess I have come to realize more this year than any other time in my life that each day is a new day and I choose at the beginning of each day and throughout the day who and what I am going to become and stand for. Some days are easy and require little effort to become who I am trying to become. Then there are the days were I feel like every single thing that I try and do and every single thought that I have only pull me further away from where I want to be. I am trying to live each minute, hour, and day like it is Halloween. Who do I choose to be today?
